How affordable is a MX franchisee?
MX remains very competitive relating to start up and operating costs. Because of our focus on community building we have deliberately kept franchise fee to the minimum, just enough to ensure we meet our costs of setting up Your franchise. Our royalty rates ensure we maintain the most up-to-date infrastructure for all our franchise partners.
How much does it cost to open a MX franchisee?
The estimated initial investment required per franchise location ranges from approximately £15,000 to £25,000 for a standard MX location. Of course, costs vary based on a variety of factors. As part of our consultation process we assist you in determining the investment required in the country where you wish to set up an MX franchise.
What are the financial requirements for potential franchisees of MX?
MX requires candidates desiring to open one store to have a net worth of £25,000 with a minimum of £15,000 in liquid, unencumbered assets (like cash). You must also be able to obtain financing to cover the total costs of opening a franchised location.
If I don't meet the financial or operational criteria to become a franchisee, can I partner with someone who does qualify?
Yes. MX requires a complete application package for each member of your potential franchise group, including investors.
If I don't have experience in the retail industry, can I still be a MX franchisee?
Yes. Prior retail experience is desirable – it ensures that operating costs are kept to the minimum and risk of leakage is kept to the minimum. MX offers a comprehensive training program, covering all aspects of operating a store. You will also have access to operations and marketing professionals as you establish your business.

Many prime development areas are available for franchising MX. To learn if the area you are interested in is available, please complete the Initial Enquiry Form and we will inform you within 3 working days of the suitability and availability of an MX Franchise for the location.
How much money will I make?
The amount of profit is based on a number of factors, including sales, costs, and the franchisee's ability to manage the business. MX does not, make or release earnings claims and it does not authorize anyone (including its employees) to make such claims.
